Default New smartphones on horizon?

I really love my Q, had the silver one since it came out then after it broke Verizon upgraded me to the black one. But as with anything, I get that itch to get something new after a year or so. I really like the smartphone style over full mobile 5 or 6 (haven't played with it but seems just like 5). Are there any new smartphones coming to Verizon? This question isn't specific to the Q, so if there are other companies putting one out let me know. I am though quite impressed with the new samsung i760 coming to verizon.....

Rumor has it the Verizon will be getting the CDMA version of the HTC 710/Vox which I have seen referred to as the HTC 720 Libra. This is the one I'm waiting for.

I'm always on the lookout for something new, but I can't see going back to a bulky slide-out keyboard after the Q.

I thought that too until I looked at the sizes of these devices:

Moto Q
64x117x11.5

Samsung sch-i760
60x110x20

HTC Libra s720
50x101.5x17.7

So the libra is only alittle thicker, but not as long or wide. I really like how the keypad is on the front.

I haven't heard much about the 800w. Next up for Palm is probably the Treo 500 and a GSM version of the Centro. With their new naming conventions, I wouldn't be suprised if the Treo 500 dons the Centro branding.

As for the Treo 800w, last I read it was coming to Verizon. With regard to form factor, I haven't seen anything on that front. My best guess is that CES will bring some sort of announcement.

Thanks Chris! If you come across anything please pass it along. Since Moto is pushing the new family of phones, I would like to see the next gen Qs compared with some of the next gen phones from other competitors (BB, Treo, Samsung, HTC). My concern is that the Q is not expanding its functional footprint quick enough for my liking. I am already getting ancy when I see phones with GPS, Wifi, WM6 and faster speeds rumored.

Are you heading to CES?

I haven't made my travel plans just yet, but I think I will be going to CES/Macworld. This is actually a good reminder for me to look into how I can manage both shows.
