I like the bubble car and not the Caddie. So it stands to reason that I like the new Qs styling. Just crossing my fingers that Verizon leaves Wifi and the European bands. They usually take out wifi on their world phones Samsung i830 and the Blackberry 8830 come to mind. The GSM versions of these phones have WiFi. The "world" versions do not.

The irony is the only time I really want to use WiFi is when I leave the country because data can be expensive in other countries, but you can sometimes pick a hotel with free Wifi.

Why would that be useless? Seems like you could lock the phone with this protecting precious data in the event your phone is lost or stolen. Perfect for Government and Govt. contractors with sensitive data.

Okay, I won't give you a hard time about your phone. But, the Q9m was going for around $150. I've found it for a little less than that $125 to $130. I consider this to be cheap compared with the unsubsidized price of the phone. And, if you then consider the fact that you can sell it back on ebay once you get the phone you really want. It doesn't seem so expensive at all.

Well to say the truth this is the phone i really want. The only reason im not going to VZW to buy it is because i dont want to renew my two year contract even though i am due for an upgrade. Once my two years are over i will negotiate a lower plan price for the family then I will purchase the top phones out for a discounted price. But for now, for the next 8 months (until my 2 year contract ends) this basically is the phone i really want.
And sadly i can not really afford it because the profit from the 8100 wont make enough. Any suggestions on a nice but cheap phone that my friends will not laugh at?

The original Q in black or silver. Those should be really cheap now. And, when the Napoleon finally hits the market, the Q9m/c will go down in price too. So then you can upgrade without the contract.

Hmm.. good idea, the black Q does not sound too bad but the keyboard, i really was interested in the Q9m. But hey i think i will get one actually. Thanks man, if you see any good deals, let me know
