Those pictures are probably from the Sprint version of the motorola q. I checked out some research on that site and they do indeed seem to be sketchy.

I really need a new phone. I got so frustrated with my original Q that I went back to my Samsung i600...which doesn't crash. Maybe I should get the Samsung i760 or the VX6800. They just look way too big though. Hmmmm...wait more?

The XV6800 definitely looks huge. I tried the i760, which is not so bad size-wise. But I absolutely HATED the placement of the soft-key, start, OK en SEND/END buttons. You have to apply some serious finger-magic to work that phone and juggle it in your hand. And trust me...you'll MISS having an exposed portrait keyboard. These slide-out keyboards are impossible to use single-handed.

THE 6800 is an improvement over the 6700, but i don't like the keyboard, or slideout keyboards in general. plus bluetooth is better on the q's. Also the 6800 is a whopping 399 after 100.00 credit on a 2 year contract.

I would hold off on the HTC devices for awhile. Many of them, including the upcoming HTC Iris, use the same chipset and lack the graphics drivers that are needed to provide smooth UI motion even for common tasks and GPS. A lot of people have the misconception that these missing drivers are only for video playback but they are really for anything displayed on the screen and anything in motion or updated quickly is affected. Some people are organizing and attempting to write drivers themselves but there is no time table on when such a project would be completed. You can follow their progress and HTC's response of the issue here: http://www.htcclassaction.org/

Anyhow through Howard Forums the q9c should of been launched today through Verizon to show off their fancy new VNav software. Sadly it is not to be found in the phone lineup, including business phones, at the time of this posting.

Looks like the Verizon Moto Q 9c release is delayed until May 15th. I guess it could be worse. This news is also "rumored", but with tomorrow being the 30th I'd say it's the real deal.
