 |  I have a GSM Q8 and it doesn't have a 2MP camera but the standard 1.3MP. I've hacked my share of pda/phones but never a smartphone; the HTC phones are quite interchangeable in terms of ROM - never heard of anyone splicing in a cdma for a gsm radio; and I don't know enough about the inner workings to declare whether or not it's possible. My guess is that the Q8 would be a closer match to the old Q with respects to hardware/drivers than the Q9 which has all different hardware components. |
