Are you kidding me... I've been holding out for verizon seemingly forever to offer an alternative the the Q9m. All I can do is "speculate" (... and hope).

My guess [and hope] is that it goes to the carriers who currently have Q's, like Verizon and Sprint.

Nobody is commenting on the big news shown in this picture? A dedicated backspace button on the keyboard?! What kind of crazy stuff will Motorola think of next?

Not sure what to think...

Compared with my Q9h.

What is with the space under the keyboard?

I would miss the dedicated internet, email buttons and center square directional button does not look as good as the round one.

What I like to see and nobody can tell by looking at pictures is more memory, better battery life and not as important an improved camera.

And it seems as though the windows keys are actually raised keys instead of being flat like on the q and q9m.

Don't think of it that way, look at it as an opportunity to be in the vanguard. Anyway it will probably be a while before it's released.

Wishful thinking, but if they made the phone smaller...the keyboard would be smaller. A smaller keyboard would result in space on the face of the phone. Pure speculation, but again I'm relying on my BlackBerry Curve comparison. I'm guessing they are taking design cues from a successful design.

There is a size point where smartphones become mainstream. The Centro is a repackaged Treo, but it's successful because of it's size. I think the original Q had some of the size mojo going for it as well, especially from the thin perspective. Making a phone that is truly pocketable certainly won't hurt sales.

Even though I haven't used one extensively, the centro is nice, but the keyboard is not revamped as it should have been. Its just a cramped treo keyboard.
