 |  sounds like you are in the same boat as me. Not wanting to pay verizons ******* data charges. it should be an option to use evdo not a requirement when wanting broadband. Wifi is an option especially on college campuses and certain urban regions. Motorola doesn't seem to be including wifi in the Q pro either which is their loss. | there will ALWAYS be a new version coming out, that's the nature of all things tech (even automobiles). The only questions you should ask yourself to factor in a buying decision that are constant are: 1. do you need a new phone (current phone isn't working)? 2. can you afford a new phone? (or are there any current promotions / sales that would make a new phone cost-effective like are you up for your New Every Two, end of quarter rebates, etc?) Otherwise, you'll be constantly waiting for that "new phone" that's coming out next quarter until the end of time.
