there will ALWAYS be a new version coming out, that's the nature of all things tech (even automobiles). The only questions you should ask yourself to factor in a buying decision that are constant are:
1. do you need a new phone (current phone isn't working)?
2. can you afford a new phone? (or are there any current promotions / sales that would make a new phone cost-effective like are you up for your New Every Two, end of quarter rebates, etc?)
Otherwise, you'll be constantly waiting for that "new phone" that's coming out next quarter until the end of time.
