Default Sony Ericsson Bluetooth HBH-DS970

I was wondering if anyone has used these headphones before and if you have any recommendations about it. I was interested in getting a headset and headphones so that I can use my Q for music and video files, and this looks like a good item for both.

Looking for the same information. I can't seem to find a full review anywhere. I'm thinking about buying and giving it a try. The only con I have read is there is not a clip on the receiver. Will review once I order and get mine.

Did you ever get this headset? I am currently looking to buy into a BT stereo headset and this is my number one choice b/c I won't look like such a Hi-Fi junkie while wearing them as opposed to the Motorola ones. Any info is appreciated on your experience with them. Thanks!

Well I got ansy and bought the Verizon wired headphone adapter with call/answer to plug my regular headphones into. I kinda felt that still not being completely wireless and having that dongle hanging on my chest might be more annoying than just a regular wire. Also thought I'd save some battery (and moolah) and ensure quality sound. I just can't commit to those Moto Musicphile headsets. I'm not 20 and hip anymore (I'm 29 and "mature" ) Anyway, I'd still like to hear the reviews of an actual user.

Sorry I have been so long in posting, but I have mixed emotions about the Sony headset. The sound quality it good as is the volume. It is easy to use, but (always the but) I cannot seem to get past the dangling of the unit itself. It's like wearing a necklace with a medium sized ornament. Always flopping around. If you are sitting still, or driving, they seem to work find. I do like the part of them being so small. It just seems the neck strap could come off and an clip could be added to make them more user friendly. I am not getting rid of mine, but if they were to break, I would look elsewhere to replace them. Hope this helps someone as I realize it is somewhat contridictory.

Default Review

Recently bought and received this device and must say I do enjoy it. Yes the dangling string might be a little bothersome but its quite small and has great stereo sound. I have used it both to make and take calls and not one caller has complained about not hearing me. I upgraded from the Sony 820. The one that you couldnt walk thru a doorway with because you were afraid the device would get scratched. Definately a must have.

How is the sound? Does it have good volume? Because the windows media player only lets you turn it up a little. When I go to the gym the regular headphones I have do not seem to be loud enough. Do these headphone have a seperate volume control? Thanks.

It has good sound but Ive only tested it in a car and at work. It does have its own volume control button and it took a little time with the audio enhancement on the Q and windows media player or tcmp to get it to a volume I liked. Alot of window media player volume issues arent with the media player itself but the toggle on the phone. That needs to be turned up as well for better louder sound.

I just recieved this and have finished setting it up as others have. I will be using it for my motorcycle headset. Around the home it is fine and loud enough. The sound quality is just a little better than ok! (personal).
All functions work well, caller ID is number only. In noisy environment you sometimes have to put the microphone to your mouth for the caller to hear you better.
I have read that the $65.00 e-bay ones ( I bought) could be copies and the sound quality isn't as good as the US spec storebought.
If all works out I'll consider trying a suposid better storebought one as I can't find a simular product for motorcycling.
I'll post another review when the weather clears and I go for a ride.
