Default Send contacts to blueant st3?

Hello
Am trying to send my phone book to the blueant supertooth 3 by bluetooth (moto q 9m) and am having some trouble. When I send it I get a
"not sent read error" on the phone. By playing around with my contact list
I found it will send the contact if I erase the last name and shorten the first name to 6 letters or less. I read somewhere that verizon has somewhat limited their bluetooth capabilities, but my wife had no trouble sending her whole phone book with her blackberry pearl, also on verizon network. Any way around this? Six letters with no last name will really limit my phone book.
Also posted this in Q forum.

So, where is the answer? I searched his user name and don't see the other post this is supposed to be crossposted from.
