Default S9 with Laptop

Is there a way to pair the Motorola S9 Bluetooth headset with a laptop?

Yeah you can definately pair the S9's with your laptop, provided your laptop is bluetooth enabled. If it doesn't have bluetooth built in, you will need to buy an adapter. They can be purchased in the EQ store on at your favorite electronics store. If necessary install the software for your new adapter. Then follow the instructions for your computer's BT adapter (built-in or purchased) as to how to connnect devices. Have the computer ready to search for devices, then put the S9's in pairing mode and have the computer search or available devices. If you want to use the computer for music and still be able to use the S9's to take calls on your Q then you will need to follow the instructions in the S9's manual for setting them upp with multiple devices. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response.

My laptop is bluetooth enabled and it recognizes the headset, but doesn't connect. So I go through the installation of the driver software and stuff, I even went to the special option to enable headset use. It just doesn't seem to connect though. Like when my phone has BT on, it says the name of my device, passkey enabled, then connected. With the S9 it just says the name and passkey enabled, no connection there.

I'm having the same problem. Have you found a fix?

I have gotten a little further in figuring it out I think. First, I let the headset fully charge (I was trying it last night right out of the box)....after a full charge it did indeed show up as "Motorola S9" while searching compared to some code as it did last night. Instead of adding the headset without a passkey, I clicked use passkey found in documentation and then input 0000.

My headset then has ten quick purple flashes, which means that pairing was successful, but then right after the purple flashes it turns back to a solid blue light (which means it's in pairing mode) or a long red flash (which means it's idle and not connected).

What is the deal!?!?

Update: I've been searching endlessly for this topic and I have nothing. The only thing I keep reading over and over is "Your computer has to support A2DP" but it is impossible to find if my computer supports A2DP. I've searched for every single number and letter on the back of my bluetooth USB adapter but nothing. This makes me so mad.
