Question Questions/Problems with Profile: Headset

So the Q automatically switches to the "Headset" Profile when I turn on my Plantronics 510. That's great. The problem is, it sometimes goes into some weird silent mode where I can't hear notifications and my alarm through the phone speakers like when in "Normal" profile. I think the call ringer always comes through the speakers though. I would like to continue to hear all of my audible ringers (through both headset and Q) because I don't always walk around with my headset on and leave my Q in my pocket. Is this a bug, or is the Q supposed to route all notifications and alarms to the headset when in "Headset" Profile mode?

If so, is there a way to force the Q to still use my headset, but not use the "Headset" profile (and stay on Normal?)?

Open Bluetooth Manager, choose Settings, press Menu, choose Advanced, and uncheck Use Hands-free for standard audio.

Excellent, thank you!

Is it a good idea to uncheck the other box too?

To tell you the truth, I don't know what it does. Maybe somebody else on the forums knows.

Hmm, your suggestion seemed to work by transmitting notification audio to the speakers, but it also transmitted call ringers and voice recognition prompts (basically all audio?) to the speakers. Is this how the Q is supposed to behave?

I think it allows you to recieve your calls through the stereo speakers and the car basically becomes your "hands-free" device. Not sure if there are other features, such as contacts integration.
