Need Help Plantronics Voyager 510

been using this BT headset for about 4-5 weeks without issues, now all of a sudden last week it keeps losing it's connection to the Q for (to me) unknown reason, could it possibly be CandleLight ? that's the only thing i installed last week... when the connection is lost i have to go into the BT Manager to establish it again, also it used to connect immediately when i turned it on, since the issues started i have to manually find it.

any one any idea ?

thanks in advance..

Smile *fixed*

well, here is what i tried: after i wrote the previous msg i turned off CandleLight and not one time today did the headset disconnect... so it looks like that (CandleLight) was giving me the issue.

seeing no responses here so i am going to assume no one else has/have a similar issue.

it's a shame because i really wanted to use CandleLight.

Default Thanks for tip!

Having my plantronics 510 cut out at random times during the day has been so frustrating... so I was so glad to find this post. Thanks for the tip - I've also removed candlelight and will see if this works.

i was pleased it solved my issue, less happy w/ the fact i can't use CandleLight but a working headset has a bit more priority (although what's a working headset if the battery is drained :}

keep is posted.

Need Help Still not working...

I don't have candlelight, but my plantronics disconnects after about 15 seconds from my Q. Can anyone please assist me?

I have gone into the BT properties and tried it with the "connections authorized" box both checked and unchecked. Neither way helps keep it connected.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, it is the 510. Some people seem to be doing just fine with this headset, while others are not.

The Q finds it and everything...it just disconnects it after so many seconds for some reason.

Default Can't Initiate with the 510

I haven't been having a disconnect issue but I can't initiate or answer calls with my voyager 510 headset. Anyone else have this problem?

I know this is an old thread, but I thoght I'd share my experience with this combo.

The connection will drop out on occasion, usually when in the presence of another bluetooth device. Kind of weird. I usually have to re-connect, but a couple of times, it re-connected automatically (usually after 30 seconds or so).

I couldn't answer using the button on the side of the Plantronics, but disabling QCaps might have fixed this. (I have only received one call since disabling QCaps, and I was able to utilize the call button on the 510.)

Just thought I'd throw those out there for collaboration purposes.
