Default Plantronics 610

Saw this at Costco yesterday for $29.99. Did a search, but nothing came up. Anybody have any opinions on this device? Thanks.

i tried it... did not do it for me (tried quite a few PLT sets) used a 510 for a year, then experimented, then switched to a 520.. it's great.

did you mean that you tried the 510 and the 610? just making sure, thanks. The 610 seems a lot cheaper than the 520, thats why I ask.

yup... and the 845 & 640 (i believe... it's been a while), tried 610 and it's obvious why it's cheaper, don't see myself wearing it all day, which is a breeze with the 510..

it's your choice of course, cheap(er) or comfort.

Is comfort the only factor, or did you find major differences in the features? This will be my 1st bluetooth, sorry if the questions are ignorant! I assumed that because the number was higher, the 610 was the new and improved version of the 520.

By the way, on the Plantronics website, it doesn't appear to have any version of the Q listed in its list of compatible phones, for either the 520 or 610. Didn't check any other versions. There are tons of other Motorola phones, but not our beloved Q!

I know, I was just wondering why the Q would be snubbed. This forum is undoubtedly giving Plantronics business, the least they could do is be a little more Q-friendly. Others not on this forum might not make the purchase because the Q isn't listed as a compatible device. Whatever.
