Default Newbie needs help:Headset for Motorola Q

Hello, I have recently purchased a corded Jabra C250 for my Motorola Q, I cannot get the earpiece to ring, I have checked and when i plug the headset in to my Q, the device shows it as the headset under profile.

What Am i doing wrong? The Q still rings aloud, or vibrates when I have it on vibrate and have the headpiece connected, but nothing through the headset. I have checked the Jabra website and this headset C250 is compatible, i have tried an old headset from my Blackberry and the same results with that - what needs to be changed on my Q?

I can answer the calls and end the calls with the button on the headset mic, and can hear and speak OK with the Mic.

Please help..

Has anyone ever been able to have their phone ring in their headset?

My 2 different q's with several different headsets have never rung in the ear under any settings the same goes for SMS as well.
