Default navibe

i just bought the navibe special for 44.95 from buygps now.com
the probelem i am having is that when i try to pair it up either it comes up with a message that the service is not available or it sits there for 5 plus minutes trying to connect. i also removed all other bluetooth devices so that none are in the list. i am also no where near any of the devices but the gps unit.

in order for me to even see the device while it is searching i must hit menu and show all devices option.

someone please help me as i am posting this right now from my Q. and need to use it as soon as possible.

thanks a bunch.....

It won't connect or get a Satalite until you actually have a software program that will try to use it.

Download the new LIVE search...
Goto: SETTINGS
GPS: COM1
Click: DONE
Goto: MAP
Click: MENU
Click: CENTER ON GPS

give it some time for the first time...
This should work for you...

Let me know, I will get you going!!!

ok so i did have this working. now i just got a brand new Q cuz the otherone would only ring when it wanted to.

so now it will not connect. this is what i am doing

windows live search - menu - settings - map - menu - center on GPS -

then i get a bluetooth manager message - and app is trying to open bluetooth serial port. would you like to select a device.....

i choose yes then it goes to searching for a bluetooth device and it finds "BT GPS V10" with a green question mark on it then once i selct it the next message is

would you like to always connect to the device?

so i choose yes and then shortly after it times out in Live search and says
"Alert, sorry could not comm with GPS on port 1"

any ideas?
