ok....just bought one of these today....got it up and running with the motonav software....and i like it just fine.....here is my problem.

i want to use googlemaps with this bluetooth gps device but it will ONLY connect when the motonav software is running....tried pairing with the pretty much standard pairing code (0000) and my phone doesnt even recognize what kind of device it is...of course it didnt come with any documentation to explain what com port it uses or even a pairing code....i have a sprint pcs moto q....havent found much out there on this product in forums and little to no help elsewhere.......any help would be appreciated...point me in the right direction...any kind of experience with the product....ANYTHING! lol

I'm interested in this, too. Considering purchasing the T815 but don't want to sink a lot of money into something that won't work.

Good to know that it does work with the Q. I'm with Verizon and I hear they may have done things to restrict the ability to use BT GPS. What carrier are you using?

I would like to be able to use it (the BT GPS part) with Google Maps and/or Windows Live as well, because I'm not too confident about the future of MOTONAV.

Thanks for the update. Doesn't sound promising. Moot point for me now. I was considering getting one of these at the CompUSA liquidation: they were 50% and then 70% off, yet they had many of them at several stores, for weeks. Even 70% off was too much for me to bite on something that could very well not work and could not be returned. Then they all disappeared between the next to last day and last day.

I got a Pharos BT GPS instead, as I've seen some reports of people being successful with this and Google Maps on the Q. Crossing fingers. There is much more FUD with this BT GPS stuff than there should be.
