Default Motorola H700 Bluetooth question

I am having a problem with my motorola bluetooth H700 earpiece. I can hear people talking but they cannot hear me. When I hold down the button with the phone sign people can hear me but I cannot hear them. My friend has the same earpiece and his works fine on my phone which makes it all the more frustrating. Any help would be appreciate.

Sounds like it is dying! I have the same one and again, mine works great as well. One way to check is PAIR it up with your friends phone and see if it works with his.

Thanks for the response. Tried pairing my bluetooth to his phone and again I could hear him talking but he couldnt hear me. This after charging the phone all night and having had the bluetooth for about 1 month. Worked fine the first few weeks and it hasnt been dropped or anything.

I found this info on another site, and it worked for me.
Make sure both the Q and the H700 are charged fully. Now turn off the H700 (the ring around the talk button should not be flashing blue every few seconds) then push the talk button for about five seconds, until the ring around it displays a purple color. Immediately let go of the button and flip open the tiny microphone extension. The secret is flipping it open to keep the headset in pairing mode. Hope this helps.

I've recently got a new phone and decided to use my Motorola H700 again... but I can't remember my PIN number. Is there a way can reset it myself or do I have to take it in to where I got it?

Thanks for the help QKEN.

Silvermidnight, the PIN number that they give you when you buy it is 0000. Not sure if that will reset it thought.

I am on my 3rd H700. I had to have 2 replaced due to others not being able to hear me. Motorola warranty sent me a brand new ones both times. (h700 was still under warranty) Go to the Motorola site and follow the instructions for returning.

If out of warranty(need a copy of recipt) too bad for you. They are going for around $20 on ebay.

Good luck!
