just got one yesterday in my quest to find a decent priced and comfortable headset (in the end i may just go back to the 510 which i still have, Plantronics supposedly is going to send a 520 for me to try) anyway... it just stopped when i started typing this post, but it's connected and made some calls, all well... but it beeps every 20-30 seconds, anyone know what the heck that can be ?

(ps. like i said, it stopped for now....)

started again... i charged it overnight so it should be good right :}

Did you figure this out yet? I just looked in the instructions for my H700 and do not see anything listed for beeping every 20 or 30 seconds. It does say it emits 5 rapid tones, repeated every 60 seconds when the battery is low. The ony other one that might apply to you is it emits low to high tone when the phone network is not available. There are a few more things listed but these seemed like they *might* fit.

thanks Buddy, it slowly but surely went away.. and then another issue popped up, it kept going in and out of calls.

long story short... i exchanged it & got a Jabra.

<hehe..> dunno, had/used the 510 for about 10 months with little issues. it thought it was time to move to something sleeker and smaller. sofar tried a few and the Jabra BT125 (very basic entry set so they say) feels pretty solid, sounds good, but had one issue already, had an incoming call which went to the Q while the Jabra is/was connected.. which is pretty annoying, i mean it has to be reliable at least.. *sigh*

a Plantronics 520 free replacement is also on the way..
