Default Moto S9 BT headphones with Q9c????HELP

I don't know whats happening, I can't get the phone and the S9's to work properly.

I turn BT on, I search for devices, it finds the S9's, I save them as a trusted device, I go to Stereo headsets, search, it finds them, type in passkey, all ok to this point, then asks me that the phone and these can be configured for handsfree operation, click Yes or No, I tried both yes and no, and it just goes to a screen ...Connecting............................... and thats it???What gives?

I have these headphones as well. I had to do a reboot on the phone once I finished setting up the headphones.

I would try doing the connections again and answer yes, then power down the phone and the headphones. Power the phone on and wait for it to do its thing then power on the headphones. All should be fine at that point. Don't forget to go into the audio section on the phone and set your levels there for your music side of the headphones.

Good luck.

These are the steps that I performed on this morning with my S9 Motorola headphones after I performed a hard reset on last evening:

1. Turned on the headphones
2. On my Q9C, I did the following:
a. Went under Bluetooth, and selected the Bluetooth Manager
b. Hands-free, and performed "Add" to configure a new Hands free device
c. Press 'Search'
d. Once found, press 'Select'
e. A message displays that this device supports Stereo Headset.. Configure? Press 'Yes'

Now go under Accessories menu and select Audio Enhancement and make any adjustments there that you desire.

You should be up and running at this point. Hope that this helps a little.

I just walked through these steps all over again and mine are up and running.

How's the battery, sound quality, etc? I'd love some user-2-user comparison with Cardo S2.

The S9s match great with the Q9c. Battery lasts about 3 uses of an hour each before I have to bring them in the house to recharge. I have noticed that the phone's BT has to be turned on before turning on the BT device (I use 3 different ones).
