Lightbulb Moto Q and the home phone

I have purchased the Motorola C 51 Communications System for my home. It connects my Q to my home phone and now I have a second line and don't have to run around the house when my Q rings...... Plus I can use the Q like a normal phone at home.

WOW!!!! Now this looks pretty sweet. I could picture how the phone (landline) works, however how does the Q work with the Moto C51 handset? Are you able to pick up the C51 handset and get a dial tone on the Q? Or does it work just like if you were handing the Q? Does call waiting work like normal? I may have to just but this and test it out.

You have to buy a celldock. It is a stand alone device, this is what connects you Q to the C51. Total cost for me Base unit w/ 1 handset, an additional handset and the celldock was less than $250.

Once the Celldock is connected and you get a call on your cell, answer it on your C51 just like any call. To make an outgoing call, press a button to make it the line you want and dial.

Sounds like a VERY cool toy. Can multiple cell phones be added to this?

You can add up to 5 cells and 8 handsets.
