Default modem link

I am trying to share my connection via bluetooth but when I go into modem link all I see is "usb" it wont let me scroll to bluetooth which I assume I need to do. What am I doing wrong here ?

Or does this even matter ? Do I need to select usb regardless ?

Are you signed up w/ the $15/month plan? I personally use PDAnet and it exposes a BT modem.

Yes, I pay the $15 unhappily. I have looked at pdanet and wasnt sure if it worked with the new firmware or not, I wish it would be more clear on if it is compatible. So you dont pay $15 and paid a one time fee for pdanet and it works for you with the new firmware ?
Maybe I should cancel this and try pdanet ? I actually downloaded the trial, but got the other system working.

Correct - I use PDAnet with no issues. It now even works with BT DUN on the Q w/ MOL2 installed (it's even compatible with Vista).

thanks ! this is big news, people are moaning and complaining about mol2 and the reg hack not working anymore and complaining about $15 too. this seems like the way out.

When you set up VZAccess you select the type of connection--BT is one of the types. Maybe you can go through the setup again to get BT.

You don't need VZaccess or modem link. Just pair it via bluetooth and use the Verizon support modem script. Works great with a MacBook Pro.
