Default Help getting Freedom GPS working

I've read all the posts about the Freedom keychain GPS but I can't seem to get mine to work. I have a 9m. I charged the GPS unit. Turned Bluetooth on, entered "0000" when asked for the Passkey to pair with the device. This was a guess......is it the correct passkey?? I see it on the Paired Devices screen with what looks like a green ? next to it. I select it. Next screen shows me Name: Keychaing GPS 2000,
Nickname: I put in Freedom GPS,
Bluetooth Address: 00:1c88:10:39:c5.
I've checked the box next to Connections authorized. Select Done and it brings me back to the same Paired Devices screen everytime.
I've tried connecting with Google Maps and Live Search but nothing.
Can someone please help ---- simple, step by step directions, please!
Thank you anyone!!

I was able to change the com port to 1 in Live Search and the Freedom is now working great with LiveSearch. Now can anyone tell me how to change the port in Google Maps? I can't seem to find how to do that.
Thanks!

Obviously it's the port that is not allowing Google Maps to work (that was the problem with LiveSearch). So how do I change to Com1 to get Google Maps to work? I've read that others with the Q9m have both programs working with the Freedom keychain.
Thanks.
