Default Headphones

Does a headphone adaptor and a pair of great headphones (Shure, Denon, Bose) work well on the Q? I recently tried to use the headphones that came with the phone to listen to music, and it sound horrible.

Or instead of buying the adaptor and great headphones...i should buy a pair of bluetooth headphones? What's better?

And if so, which pair of bluetooth headphones would you guys suggest?

Hmm, haven't really been into headphones for a long time. Have the ipod, but i just use the ones that came with that. I myself don't really think the Q would be the best option for an mp3 player (though you can use it that way if you really wanted to). Personally Bose is a good brand, and no i wouldn't bother with an adapter. I would try a better pair of headphones first.

I have a really good pair of on ear Sony monitor head phones. With my 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter (with 3 stripes of course) with TCPMP my music sounds GREAT!! It also sounds good with my cheaper ear bud headphones.

The sound quality with media player is a lot worse then TCPMP.

Also a good pair of headphones may be around $30-$40 with a $10-$15 adapter, versus $100 for the Motorola BT headphones.

Motorola S9.
Can be found for around $50 and it's Bluetooth. You can take calls with it, control your music (next, previous, volume).

my guess is ebay.

Personally I have the Jabra BT3030. I love that thing, it sounds good with the earbuds that come with it and my bose over the ear. But my shure dont really sound too good in them. I think it's cause the shure is built with so much teble.

I tried the regular headphones with an adapter. That lasted a few weeks. I was tempted to get an Ipod, but what a waste it would be when I a media player built into my phone. So, for my birthday I requested the Motorola S-9's Bluetooth Headphones. I got mine from Ebay for around $79.00. Cheaper than getting from Sprint at $129.00 or Best Buy at $99.00. I'll find out where on Ebay, but any reputable seller should be OK. The ebay store I got mine from seem to specialize in motorola products. I also got a handfree bluetooth speaker for my car for around $20.00 from the same store!

Yes - ebay...
I know it's not for everyone but it's been good to me (knock on wood).
