Default Having a real hard time finding a good BT Headset

I have a Moto H500, but it's crappy, I need something that seals in my ear. The Plantronics 520 got good reviews. No one local had it. Ordered one. Terrible fit. I called to see if they had other ear pieces for it, but was told "one size fits..." I said "Some?" She agreed that no way can it fit everyone.

My problem is I need one that fits in the ear canal and seals, like a set of good bud headphones. I work in a noisy data center, and have a hearing loss as it is. External noise is my enemy.

She reccomended the 510, but I hate that huge piece hanging behind the ear and the boom mic. I have one that looks like that I use at work. It's okay, but not what I would buy. Plus it is a pain to get on. If the H500 had a bud that went in the ear, that would be all I needed.

The problem is. most of the headsets advertised do not show the piece that goes in the ear. The Moto H12 looks interesting, but I can see what the ear bud looks like.

Any help here is appreciated!

I use the Plantronics 665, it has 3 sizes of ear gels that fit very securely into the ear. In fact most people I know with it do not ever need to use the optional (but included) over the ear wire. I recommend it a lot. The 855 looks interesting and that seems to have regular ear buds instead of the ear gels that the 665 comes with. Stereo would be the way to go if you wanted maximum external noise cancellation and immersion.

You can't see the ear gel in that pic very clearly so I've included the link to the pic below from the 610 that uses similar ear gels:

After looking some more I'm pretty impressed with the 815 as well and given the option I would have bought it over my 655 (although I love the 655 accessories).

I'm thinking 815 also. I really don't need stereo, and I called Plantronics and was told the 815 is the same as the 855, sans the Stereo.

The problem is no one around here carries any of these, so trying one is out.

Anyone on here have the 815 that can comment?

Here's something to think about though - you can always remove the stereo component on the 855 but you can't add it to the 815 I don't think they'll sell the component separatey & I'm not even sure the 815 comes with the jack. For the price you'll be paying I believe relative value is more important than absolute cost.

You are correct, the 815 does not have the Stereo circuitry and cannot add the 2nd ear bud. I am considering this.

it did not feel right when i had it on (may be the shape of my weird ass ears) and it randomly connected & disconnected (while idle and while in call), something i never have with the 520 unless i walk too far away from my headset. lastly..

ps. i tried both the 655 and 665.
