Default GPS questions from a n00b

Hello, I recently purchased a Moto Q phone from Sprint with their Sero offer. I have a few questions regarding GPS:

1.) What do I need to buy to use GPS? A receiver? Do most come with software for maps and/or does Google maps provide this?

I was thinking about the OnCourse Bluetooth GPS Receiver Edition 3. Anyone know if this one comes with software for maps?

2.) With Sero I get unlimited data access, does this mean that I will be able to use GPS without subscribing for a data plan?

Thanks!

Most GPS units do not come wih maps. Unlimited data access is a data plan, so you can use google maps for navigation, unless you want other software. That reciever is just the reciever, no software.

Can someone confirm that they are able to use GPS with their Moto Q? I can't see anything GPS related under the blue tooth settings for connecting to a receiver and such.

I really *am* a n00b.

Copy that.

I've used the Freedom keychain GPS and now the Wintec G-Rayz 2 GPS with data logging, both work flawlessly (even in my pocket).

Awesome, thanks you guys.

I don't have the receiver yet, but where do I go on my phone to sync it up with the Blue Tooth?
