Music or Audio Control Winamp W/Bluetooth?

Has anyone seen anything for controlling Winamp with Bluetooth? I had something for my palm, and was wondering if there's something out there for the Q? Maybe this is part of controlling your computer, but it would be neat to have a remote! Thanks!

Ok so i downloaded the Bluetooth Remote Control from www.jaylee.org
and installed it perfectly, however when i try to run the program it says Application Error "Error getting Bluetooth mode" No idea what this means and there's no support on the site. I'm going to keep working to figure out what the deal is..

Ok ready gang? Here's the best news ever. But before i tell you, i apologize if everyone already knows this, perhaps it's useful for newer people. That being said, here we go!

You don't need to install any software to control Winamp, Windows Media Player, Powerpoint, iTunes, or any other program that supports global
hotkeys!

All you have to do is go to the bluetooth options, and work your way through the remote PC connection. When you have it all set up(took about 30 seconds for me) then you get a screen that tells you what buttons on your Q you can control your PC with! Not only that, you can control your mouse with it!! It's great news, and I hope i've enlightened some people who didn't know about it before!

Hi Rhstevenson,

I've just released a new version of Bluetooth Remote Control, version 0.6.0 that adresses that particular problem you're experiencing.

If you still want to try it, just go check it out here : http://www.jaylee.org/remotecontrol

By the way, it now supports Windows Media Center !

Thanks !

- could you be specific the steps you took? When I go to the PC Remote option in the bluetooth manager, and click "Add" - it tells me to "Go to PC and initiate a keyboard connection".

thanks!

Right once you get to that part, go to your computer and, well, it depends on what software you have but you need to tell your bluetooth software that you are trying to connect to a keyboard. So go into the options and go to 'Add' usually it's a human interface, and if you have Vista it will automatically do all this for you by the way.
Anyway just play around there and soon enough you'll get connected and can enjoy your new 'free' bluetooth remote!
