Connection Problems with RazrWire - Motorola Q Forum

I am following the User Manual instructions on pairing with a new bluetooth headset. For some reason, it doesn't recognize my RazrWire. Am I missing a step? Or does this headset not work with the Q? Please advise. Thanks,

Are you sure that you are trying to pair in the Hands-free profile? And, may sound dumb, but you sure that the shades are on pairing? If you are positive it is....try searching for the RAZRWIRE and see if it appears. If it does not search again, but once the search has begun click menu and then show all devices. If they do not appear still...then they either aren't in pairing or they may be defective. I have paired a pair of RAZRWIRES in our store with my Q. However, if it still isn't working let me know on an email to my VZW email address below and I will pair with the set I have at the store and make sure it is working fine...I haven't tried since I went to MOL2.

Thanks for your help in this matter. It turns out that I wasn't pairing the phone and headset correctly. I didn't wait until the red light was solid on the headset. The instructions didn't make this clear.

You got my curiousity peaked so I looked up RAZRWIRE at the store today.

I can get em for $100 brand new in box...so I get my new pair morrow. Glad to hear they worked great for you.
