Default Bluetooth synch help!! please!

I am having a terrible time trying to get my moto q to synch with my pc over bluetooth. I have vista 64 bit ultimate. I bought 2 trendnet twb-105ub for my home and office pcs. i am having problems hooking it up. i have checked every setting i can think of. i get the same issue on both pcs. the activesynch will not synch but it detects my device. i can see the computer and the pc can see the phone. i dont get what im doing wrong. i get an error in active synch that says service discovery failed please make sure the device is ready..

I can now access the internet through my phone but it will not synch....

any ideas? im lost

thanks

I'm also having the same problem, vista syncs great with a usb connection and I can move files with bluetooth, I just can't sync with bluetooth. I have pdanet installed, and I wonder if this app is doing something.
It should be possible to sync via bluetooth, but is it?

I do not believe bluetooth syncing is possible with Vista. I know there have been problems with it syncing via bluetooth. I too have PDAnet and can't get it to connect. I think Microsoft messed up the drivers when they made Vista.

its weird. i havnt been able to find an answer anywhere. there is a thread on a microsoft site that briefly mentions this issue in relation to something else but nothing directly with the moto q and bluetooth on vista. it may be a 64 bit issue not sure what version you guys run. weird though if anything vistas drivers should be better than xps for bluetooth.

I was up for like 3 hours last night trying to figure this out. I am running Vista Home Premium 32bit and I can't get it to work. I think it is a problem with Mobile Device Center. I too can't sync but I can connect to the internet using PDAnet. I know everything is set up correctly with ports/comms and such, and both my pc and q are seeing each other. My error reads something along the lines of the services are not setup right. I think we might just need to wait for MS to fix this one.
