System Tools or Repair Bluetooth headset has popping and poor reception

I have a new Q9h and 3 different BT headsets. The newest one a Plantronics 610 works the best, but I have a very "crappy" connection to the Q at any kind of distance with all three headsets...even 3 feet.

I get a popping noise as I wave the Q around when on a call or go even several feet away from it...8 feet and it is bad. Maybe my phone is messed up (it is brand new). Blue tooth works well to my PC and the popping is not noticeable when playing music and walking away from the Q.

It's almost like the phone signal interferes with the Bluetooth. I have no software installed and no hacks or registry stuff YET.

Anyone else notice this as I am going to the store to talk to the folks tomorrow. What good is this nice piece of equipment without the hands free. I'm sad.
