I'm glad to find that out because it does an amazing job. I was talking to before mentioned friend while driving 65 in a 1989 Volvo Semi with the passenger window down and he said it sounded as if I was in a silent room. However it does seem to have trouble with wind noise. Not sure why that is.
I'm glad to hear that it's working for you overall. None of the headsets I have tried do a particularly good job in the wind. Perphaps the next generation of the Jawbone will do better in that respect.

I've heard good reviews about the Voyager 510 and the Scala-700. Anyone tried these in a truly noisy environment with success. Must admit, the Jawbone works awesome when it works but just can't seem to make it play nice. Have messed with it for a few days now and it will work great for a few calls then mess up the next few. Don't know what else to do but send it back and try something else. Not really any settings on the Q that I may have set wrong I don't think.
Thanks
The best I've had is the blue ant z7... The jawbone just didn't cut it... nor did any of the plantronics

I almost went with that but the fact that they include 3 sets of ear hooks made me weary.

Interesting fix for the Jawbone... I'll see if it worked! Had the same trouble with my LG VX8700, maybe that was the issue there as well.

Turned the Headset profile to Vibrate only for ringing... so we'll see what happens.

Thanks!

I had lots of issues with my jawbone but with my Q9m I have none. I usually drive 70 on the freeway with my window down and people don't even notice. Same when I'm blasting music in my car. But I know the newer version of the jawbone will increase it's ability to cancel out background noise, but I don't know when it will be released.
