The quality was much less using the Q and A2DP than just listening to the Sirius through the regular FM transmitter. Whether that has to do with the quality of the Sirius radio or the shortcomings of A2DP - I can't be sure.

I think it is the latter because when the Q is paired with the Rhythm N blue - even the CoPilot GPS sounds come through the car stereo and they are all muffled.
Maybe you could try some quality mp3's from Q's default player. Obviously the streaming sirius is not going to produce decent audio even if u plug it in direct(I've tried it.) Would be interesting to know, I wan't to get this working.

Default Tried that

I did try to play a high quality MP3 from the Q over the A2DP connection to the Rhythm N Blue Car Stereo.

It worked, but the sound quality was still sub standard in my opinion. There is a definite "hollow" sound to the music when using A2DP.

The BlueAnt X5 headphones come with a Bluetooth transmitter that you can hook into the iPod - I tried sending music that way and when it worked it sounded the same.

I am really beginning to think that while very cool, Bluetooth Stereo is just not ready for prime time when it comes to audio quality.

That is really too bad. It's not worth it to use Q as an mp3 player if it has to be corded. I guess I'll stick with my CD's. So far they have sounded way better than any mp3 setup I have had.
