System Tools or Repair Problem with outgoing mail using moto q

Does anyone have cox as their internet provider? is there a work around with regards to sending email using Moto Q9h with smtp.west.cox.net as the outgoing server? Any suggestions/help will be much appreciated.

Almost every ISP will block the use of their SMTP servers from any IP address that is not on their network.

If you have AT&T, they have a help page that tells you how to set up a mail account on the Q9 Global here. The SMTP server to use (from that page) is cwmx.com. Just put that address in your smtp server address and everything should be fine.

I answered this in the Verizon forum. See http://www.everythingq.com/forum/ver...tml#post165243

You need to set up an account to access your info on Verizon Wireless and use the password for your account access to log in to the SMTP server.

I guess then I' suggest that you call AT&T customer support at this point and find out how for sure?
