Question Insurance ?

I had posted a question in the q9h. But wanted to post one here on the Carriers side and see what you guys/gals do?

What does everyone with At&t and the Moto Q9 do for insurance?

Any outside companies that cover this, since att does not allow the Q to have insurace?

ATT doesn't allow insurance on smartphones/ pda's, at least when they were called Cingular. Big issue was made on other forums about it.

I've seen that posted, but they are still charging me the ins. I hope i never have to use it. but i look at it this way, if they keep on charging me, and i don't have to use it, then i should get a nice check after 2 years......lol

Maybe something changed from cingular to AT&T....but i doubt that.

I see you are in NE PA. Close to Wilkes-Barre? that is where i'm from.....

Palmer Twp, Outside of Easton.

I would call them and question it. You may be paying for something they won't honor down the road.

Easton.......been there a couple of times...

Someday I'll give them a call. I had the ins for two years on my razor and never had to use it. so it might just be like throwing 5 bucks out the window every month.............lol
thanks

Hey Tony,
Just wanted to let you know that i had to go back to the store to get a replacment phone (mine would not vibrate) so they replaced that one (under 30 days old) and i asked them about the Insurance.......and Yep...No insurance for the Q so they took that off, credited my account for last month's charge and an extra credit of 5 bucks for the mix-up.

sorry to be right. at least you know now instead of down the road when you would need the insurance.

i JUST got insurance put on my Motorola Q9h about 2 minutes ago.

My 30 day window would have been TOMORROW, so i'm glad I called.

The Q9h Global was on the INELIGIBLE list for awhile, because Asurion didn't want to cover them. They just came OFF that list, as of April 1, 2008, so says the CSR I spoke with.

(which struck me as ODD, because I used to be with Verizon, and had a Q Black and went through 2 replaced devices, with only a $50 deductible on both)

My shiznit is now insured... Yay!
