(which struck me as ODD, because I used to be with Verizon, and had a Q Black and went through 2 replaced devices, with only a $50 deductible on both)

My shiznit is now insured... Yay!
DOes insurance still cover your Q9h if it has been unlocked etc?

Default Retail rep says Q Global is uninsurable

I was just at an AT&T store today and the manager told me they cannot insure the Q Global. Maybe he didn't get the memo. I can't imagine not having insurance for such a pricey device.

I just purchased mine on 04/19 and they indicated that they cannot give insurance on the q9 but gave me a 3rd party called safeware.com. Anybody use this or just the one provided by AT&T if u can still get it.

I don't understand why ATT doesn't want to offer insurance to its customers/
Its not like they loose out on it. Maybe they don't want people accidently breaking their phone and getting a replacement for 50.00 without extending their contract?

Strange, I didn't have insurance before getting my Q. When applying for insurance, the rep checked that the Q was covered and then gave me the policy. She even called my phone to make sure it was working.

Store reps are not always up on the latest info.

Call AT&T directly. They will tell you it is.

It's done by a third party - but it is insurable. I have the Q9h with AT&T - I have the insurance on it. It IS insurable.
