Maybe they are just doing one tower a week or something? It's been going on so long that it's second nature to ignore the alerts. But text is the only way my husband & I can communicate with each other during the day. Calls do not go thru very well where he works unless he is in the right place, standing in the right direction, with one foot held up......:O)
Off topic: Is that the Aflaic duck on you shoulder? It's a good pix of you but can't tell what's on your shoulder very well. If it is...you know a celeb?

I have US Cellular for over 15 years ,still have it . It wont work in the house but works everywhere else . i miss a lot of calls so I bought the one phone i wanted a motoq for 50 bucks off Ebay and am using it with the 29 dollar plan on Alltel . alltel sig is strong and they have a guarantee no drop policy . I love this q. i have over 400 programs on it and it does every thing , TV for free voice translator games , homescreens and i can run 100's of java programs with the emulator . all and all this phone is cool with alltel . Its AWSOME . just dont get one under contract for 79.99 they want you to get the 89.00 500 min smartphone plan .. get your own phone and your set for any plan you want!!!!

i havent experienced the outrageous bills my friends have with other carriers,no hidden costs etc.i have the smartphone plan and love it it comes in very useful for using my laptop when i am travelling
