Why does everyone hate Alltel?

There is no justice in my little world. So, I have a choice to make: from my "guano job" & overtime I have enough $$ for the camera I was wanting. BUT, it just a few weeks(?) Crap-tel is bringing out a new Q that supports MMS w/c I desperately need @ my job, and just for fun (My best-est friend misses me sending her pix of her family). I will probably have to pay full price X 2. So I am sitting here waiting to see w/c one of the 2 "wants" will win. So, what does everyone think? Camera? Or get the new Q so you won't have to put up with anymore of my b*tching?

Someone on here had a link from another site that had the model but I can not find the post! Been trying to find it on my own and I think it's the Q9m. I could be 99% wrong on that. Confirmed from an Alltel tech support email that I received 2 weeks ago that they are bringing out a newer Q first quarter of this year. I have tried every search string I could think of with no real clear answer on w/c Q.
(I think that's how I got into parts of ***tel's site that I wasn't suppose to be in) shhhhhhhh...........

Found a little conformation it's the Moto Q9M but still can't find out when. I know they are working to update servers/towers to handle the smartphone MMS. We'll see what happens...

Does anyone have a comparison chart showing the differences between the original Q and the Q9?

I don't know about me getting a cheap upgrade either. But I do know that I am going to upgrade my cell phone when it comes. I checked all my software that I bought to make sure everything would work going from the Q to Q9m & it does. Hey! Maybe use my tax stimulus check from the gov. to get it! There's a thought!

Nope. I don't think VZW phone will work with Alltel, vice versa, etc.
I sent them an email yesterday to see if they were going to offer any rebates or incentives to existing Moto Q users & that some of us, myself included, just signed or have recently signed new 2 year contracts & won't be able to recieve any contract "rebates or sales". We'll see what the response will be. But if they are like any other carriers it's going to be "cash & carry" w\ no joy. But then again, the lies that their retail ppl told @ the stores to get these sold is dubbed: Alltel's Big Fiasco. Maybe they will try to make it right.
Wait and see, I guess. If anyone finds any news plz post so everyone can stay informed. (Maybe I can change my "hate" avatars!) LOL
