I called alltel a few weeks ago and got put on a waiting list to be called when the Q9c was released. Just got a call from them today and they said it's available by phone order now.
Sorry, just realized this was posted as the last post in the Alltel Announces Moto Q 9c... post.

Yeah its sweet stuff, I've been asking everyone at Alltel and they are naturally dumb to the idea until they see one on the shelf. When they released it today, I was excited. Mostly because 2 months ago I got phone Insurance from Alltel, and naturally I had already cracked the glass in my screen and then yesterday I was doing something in Kansas City and I jumped out of the van and my q was on my lap and fell into the street and was ran over by a car! It was still in working condition, I have no screen now, but I can still make calls. Any doubt I had in my Q has been resolved now. I am also excited that I can get my new Q9c for 95 bucks and not renew my contract, who would've thought that my phone being ran over would totally kick butt!
Let us know if you have any problems or notice any bugs with your Q9c. I'm quite possibly going to be taking back my Curve next week for a Q9c unless the reception problem works it way out... heck I might do it any ways since there is a $100 price difference.
I'll keep you guys posted on it, I think I'm going to the get the "Licorice" i.e. black one haha. I'm really not sure why they called it licorice, but I'll everyone on this thread because this is big... why because Alltel finally has a non retarded q! YAH MMS TEXT!!!!
Does anyone know yet whether or not the Alltel Q9c has the open GPS like the Sprint Q9c? I would love to be able to use the "my location" or "use gps" (whichever is the correct terminology) portion of googlemaps like the sprint users can.

I remembered reading this in the Moto Q9C thread (I know--there's crap everywhere around here--LOL)
But, no it doesn't look sound like it has GPS unless you want to pay more $$ for it.
