That's probably a good bet. I'll bet many people (if not most) aren't even aware of other browsers for the Smartphone, and many (most?) of those who are don't bother installing them.

Well, you would both lose that bet.

Sorry I forgot to mention my browser in my OP. I am actually fairly knowledgeable about this "stuff" and have been using Opera since I got the Q. Last night it got so bad I couldn't connect to the web at all. Not with either browser or to any site. My wife's Razr wouldn't connect either so I chalked that all up to some type of Alltel network problem. Although strangely my PC5740 data card
WOULD connect albeit excruciatingly S L O W L Y!! Less than 100kbps DL's!!
Today I'm proud to announce . . .I'm having no problem connecting via the Q with either browser. It's very slow compared to the normal 1Mbps I usually get on the Q. The sites I listed are coming up but again, very slowly. I tried testing at the dslreports site but couldn't even run the 1MB test I usually run on the Q. Running the 200k test just now the results were a paltry 46kbit/sec!! With 1.064s Latency. Sad, huh. Data card isn't happy either. Maybe they're upgrading to Rev A around here!! I have a Sprint U720 data card as well and that's the way their network was acting for a few weeks when we were getting Rev A turned on here!! Of course I digress, this isn't Q related so please forgive me for straying WAY off topic!!
