Default Need Alltel Moto Q firmware file

I need the Alltel Motorola Q firmware flash file.

My Q locked up at the bootloader screen. I was able to load the firmware with RSD Lite but it appearently was not the one for Alltel because my phone is always roaming now. Called Alltel and they checked my phone. The PRL is 50626 which they say is for Verizon network.

The Motorola Update software from Moto's site will not work to update. It just says "you already have the latest software" and it will go no farther.

If I can get my hands on the right firmware for Alltel I can flash it with RSD Lite but I am having no luck finding it.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Ok here is the deal with that:
You have flashed it to Alltel through the Hellomoto.com, right?
What you need to do is flash it with the moster file to Alltel. I have one, but I have a problem with it. It is encrypted and I have tried to extract the file out of it and make it a SBF file, but so far I had no luck. If you or anyone else knows how to make a working file from the .SBF.ENC file then we can work something out. The file comes from a secure source and it`s the real thing. I need this file to be working more then you would know.
By the way if you can`t get the phone out of the bootloader I can help you with that by flashing it through the RSD not the Lite, but the real one. It will bring the phone back to life and reload the SW, but for some reason it will not let you access the internet. All of the other functions will work just fine. My e-mail address is Mirzet@cpfxwireless.com
You might ask if I can send you the RSD, well even if I could it wouldn`t work because it needs to have a hardware key attached to it with a specific SN, only 1 per program and the user name.

Thanks for the info, but I finally found a Alltel Monster file that worked. Flashed it with RSD light. Now I have a working phone again.
If anyone has Alltel and needs a good working monster file let me know.

SURE
You will need drivers for the motoQ first. You can download those from my website www.cpfxwireless.com
Then you will need the program that does the flashing. That will be a Motorola RSD(remote software download) lite. This I do not have on my site so you will have to google it. I will have it available on my site soon, but for now I am way to busy to work on it.
Then most of the people will not tell you this, but you will need to have a MS HotSync installed on your computer as well. It helps, trust me.
Once you have installed everything you will need to connect the phone to the computer by USB cable only and then you will be prompted to install the drivers. There are 6-7 drivers that need to be installed. For this the phone needs to be on. If your phone is in the bootloader then the computer will install only one driver for a bootloader. It`s ok it will still work, but it will install the drivers after the phone is flashed.
The way to get the phone into the bootloader is: Take the battery out. Wait 3-4 seconds. Put the battery back in. Press and HOLD A-key and ENTER-key. Press power button. There will be a black screen with the bootloader information on it. If the phone for some reason doesn`t get to the bootloader, try this: Take the battery out, put it back in, press and hold the 2 keys I told you about earlier, plug the usb cable in and then try to power it up.
Then I will asume that you have a monter flash file for whatever carrier you need. It`s more then likely zipped, so you will have to unzip it. Unzipping it will get the file ready for the use.
After all this is is done you need to start the Motorola RSD lite and on the upper part of the screen there is a small box. It doesn`t say anything, but it is used as a browsing tool so you can load the file into the program. Choose your file. The file extensions you will see may be .SXH .SBF and .HS
SHX and SBF are the flash files Use those
HS is a flex file you do not use this one
click start and relax for a little while. Do Not Disconnect the phone while flashing it. Also make sure that you have at least 3 bars on the battery meter, otherwise you may Brick the phone.
I will try to work on uploading some stuff on my web site this long weekend and I will post it to this forum when done. I am planing to make available for everyone the compilation of the most up to date tools for flashing, drivers and few other usefull programs all in one place so people do not have to spend daays trying to find the stuff on the web. Yes it will be free for all.
I hope this helped
