I went into the store today with my 5th Q.... it was new out of the box 3 weeks ago and having the same issues as the other 4 and I was told that they haven't made a decision yet on allowing customers to get out of the Q... but also told me they have had many people having the same problems.... I sent an email to Alltel earlier today and thinking maybe if more do that it might helpe speed up the process....

Can you tell me what your Q was doing? Just being nosey. I have sent emails to Alltel, too and their response is usually in a few days. I like my Q but me stewing about other things about this company. Good luck in finding a working phone.

Music or Audio a bitter sweet end

i went to the alltel store about a week ago and got a brand new htc, the draw back was it set me back 165 bucks. i was on my fourth one in 5 months. i love the Q but i wasnt gunna try another referbished motoQ. the htc has pic messaging which is a plus cause a i used to have a lg w/ pic messaging so its a nice feature. like i said i loved the Q but enogh was enough. i think it was a good investment. and i like the whole tuch screen. and go LSU!!!!

My main issue is with the phone turning off or resetting out of no where. It resets its self more but I've had times where it just turns off. Lately it has been issues with the date and time. I'm in central time zone and set it for that then all the sudden it will change to mountain time and everything in my calendar will now been an hour early. And as soon as I change it back it goes right back to mountain time. Multiple text messages of the same thing sent and received. When I plug in my car charger it swiches to "Car" profile and I can not hear anyone I call and they can not hear me until I unplug it. And of course the whole thing with Yahoo and their email not working on there any more. There have been a few other things but those are the main ones. And each one of the 5 I've had has had one or more of those problems. I like the Q if it only worked like it should.

Dang! My Q has been put thru hell and keeps on trucking. I had one problem with it not charging (I HAVE to turn mine off or it won't charge, no big deal), & I forgot to turn it off. Had to do the charge before it would charge dance. I can't justify getting a new phone when this one still works & is only a few months old, even though I bitch about the lack of MMS, it is not the Q's fault but the providers. I don't know why some ppl have problems like yours and some don't....wish I had the answers. Good luck.

Your taunting me aren't you? Did you read the tread about me sharpening my knives? (jk).
So? How did you get the HTC? Did it cost you $$? Did you lie or anything? Did you have to renew contract? Details..I need details!
I had touch with my palm, I don't know if I can go back to that. But still give the details for anyone who would want to do this. OK?

I actually paid the money for it, full retail, it hurt, but the phone is worth it. My wife now uses my Q on our family share plan. I tried about every angle possible to get the HTC for a better price. I was too new a customer to renew contract and as much as I complained about my Q, they only wanted to offer a replacement. It was time for me to move on!! Yay MMS!!
