MOL4 is out for Alltel

MOL4 is out for the Alltel Q on the MSU site.

The new software version [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important][/color][/color][/color]is:

AP: MP_BSP_C_02.07.61-63P_HW_P2.1
BP: Q2-BP_C_06.0C.1EP

(BP changed, not AP).

This MOL addresses power cycling issues.

Looking forward to it working for that very reason. I have been having the re-start issues. If it works I'll post back my results. So far no problems.

keep in mind if you do this update you will erase your entire Q!!

Those out there that have had issues with the Q, are hopefully aware of that requirement. I sync my phone everyday so at most I will only lose one day's work. Thank goodness I have that habit to fall back on with this Q.

Are you sure about that? The Verizon Q software update deletes all user data, but the Alltel Q update gives the option for backup and restore of personal data (although not third-party data).

doesnt always work
you get that 'option' with the vzw update as far as i remember
but doesnt always work...better to be safe than sorry

i had planned on doing this today but forgo so i'll do it tmorrow. my phone resets itself a few tims a day if i'm doing memory intensive activities so i'll be able o tell you if it woked by friday.
