has anybody noticed any improvements after installing the update. Hate to go through the effort of reinstalling everything if there is not difference.

Great find Igotaq, but I too would like to know the benefits of upgrading before doing it. I know I'll have to reload all of my software but does it also mean re-adding all my contacts and calender items too!!???

My inquisitive nature got the better of me and I attempted an update but it failed! :-(

I'm think that perhaps it was just the fact that I had a lot of things running and so it was unable to backup my private data. I'm going to switch my Q off and on and then try again.

if it's anything like the Verizon MOL3 which it probably is, the biggest improvement i have noticed is battery life.

Well it all installed perfectly after I'd switched off/on my Q. All I have to do now in re-instal my software!

Updated here as well...and have nothing to report about what it does...I'll give it 24 hrs to see if the battery life improves at all...

I went and updated as well. Here's the version info after the update:

Q2-BP_C_06.0C.16P
MP_BSP_C_02.07.61_63P_HW_P2.1

OS 5.1.195 (Build 14960.2.4.0)

I know the OS and the Build version are the same as before the update, but I can't find my scrap of paper where I wrote down the original first two lines at.
