yesterday and called tech support to get it activated. Went VERY smooth. I would recommend this option to anyone looking to activate an ebay phone. 800 alltel1. Tell them you "need an esn change". Took all of 5 minutes since *228 did not work for my phone. Next I Installed WM Device Center and synched with my Vista/Outlook 07 PC. It looks like it got all my contacts in.

So far so good. Just wanted to say thanks for the forum. Reading the emails and searching on topics has certainly saved me mucho time/headaches so far. I am sure I will encounter some issues when I go to set up gmail/exchange email/other email this w/e but at least it is up and running.

I kept my old plan to save some money (thanks again for the how to tips) so I just need to figure out the basics of how to send recieve email when I ask the Q not every 5 or 10 minutes automatically.

It is a very cool phone.

Congrats. I picked up my q9c this morning from alltel. Are you able to access the internet? I keep getting a "login error" when I try to open addresses in internet explorer.

yeah the internet is slow but working. i did get my pop email set up to send and receive but am having an issue synching emails sent to the pc via the q. i will ask about this in another thread and see if I can get a suggestion to fix this.

welcome....look into imap instead of pop to sync folders!
