Dumb Questions from New Q Owner

Okay, I recently got a Q and I purchased a 2gig memory card for photos & music from Alltel. But for the life of me I can't figure out how to add files to the card storage memory...I can add the files to Q, but I quickly run out of memory because i can't seem to add the files to the removable memory card. I did find the memory manager in operating system, but it only says that Card Storage is unknown. So 1st question is how to tag a file to be saved on the card and then the second is how do I get the Q to recognize the card storage. Thank You!

by using a card reader on the pc, or possibly by using a digital camera that accepts the same card.
