Where do I get the QPST program those instructions call for?

I don't think we can post links to stuff like this on this forum but Google will turn it up real fast. The version I used is 2.7 (hint).

To be honest.. I am not sure if it is against the rules. I am new around here. QPST isn't free and I know a lot of forums don't like you posting links to commercial software.

Thanks ermax. I found it.

Actually, I thought it was something that might have come on the disk from Alltel or something. Now that I know what it is I can see why that wouldn't be the case and why it wouldn't be proper to post it here.

Google is my friend!! The problem was that there are so many broken links to it out there!! Geez! But, as I said, I got it now.

Now you just need to get serial access to the Q setup so QPST can connect. Then the fun part is learning how to use QPST.

Where are you in Michigan? I only get EV in and around Kalamazoo/Portage. I'm often in Detroit (at the airport, anyway- so not REALLY detroit) and never get EV.

When I travel out East, I don't get it (Boston, NYC, NJ, Philly), but I have gotten it in part of Florida, and in Phoenix AZ.

Maybe I need to look at getting the PRL thing on my Q. In the interim, I'm interested to know where you get EV in Michigan.
thanks!

I can't get HW Virtual Serial Port to install on my PC. Using Vista... could that be why? I get an error about 99% through installation that the registration closing. try to launch HW Virtual SP and get class not registered error. is there another program that will allow me to do this? I travel A LOT and could really benefit from this other PRL

I live in Kalamazoo and get EV without difficulty everywhere I go. I also get it anytime I travel to Jackson, Battle Creek, or anywhere along I-94 East for that matter. When I went to the DTE Music Theater/Pine Knob in Detroit a couple weekends ago I don't think I ever did not have EV.

But I do go to 1x and lose most of my bars as I travel towards and around Pentwater/Ludington like I'm doing in about an hour. The Q has not traveled too far with me just yet, so that's all the exampls I have.
