OK, I looked at one of our test Q devices. On this one, we're also in Central time. Go to Settings/Clock & Alarm/Date and Time. Time is set correctly, and time zone is GMT -6 Central US. It's been correct now for three days (I did a Master Reset on it as I was helping a customer, and manually reverified these settings then.

I hadn't looked at the manual/auto settings, but I went and looked just now. Clock Update is Automatic, and Time Zone Update is manual.

It's working here. What about there?
