Honestly, that depends on how Outlook is set up. There is an option (I believe there is also one on the Q) which you can use to tell Outlook to leave a copy of the message on the server. This should keep you getting all emails at both the Q and Outlook. However, you may fill your mailbox.
If you are only getting some messages in both places I would guess that both the Q and Outlook are set to remove messages from Gmail after they have been downloaded, precenting them from being in both places. As a note, I don't know of anyway to sync POP mail Inbox to Outlook desktop.
My configuration:
1. Q is set to leave messages on the server.
2. Outlook removes them.
This way, when my laptop is not on, all my email goes to my Q. Once I turn on the laptop, all email is downloaded from the POP server to Outlook. Sure I have to mark things are read, etc., but it is the easiest solution I have found. Besides, if I am at my desk, I don't need the Q's email capability.
Now, if someone could just find a way to move the sent messages from the Q's mail client to Outlook... |
