welcome aboard.... everything has been answered many times so a search would have helped.

.cab files should NOT be unzipped but copied to the Q and opened/executed with the build-in File Manager.

home screens go in \Application Data\Home and when there they can be selected either in the Facade configuration or in Start Menu > Home Screens.
