Isn't that the exact opposite of what you asked before?
I don't know about the Q 9m, but to get Internet passthrough to work on my original Q I had to make sure ActiveSync on the Q knew that my PC was connected to the Internet. It's buried pretty well, too.
- Start the Connections settings applet.
- Press the Menu softkey.
- Choose the Advanced menu item.
- Press the Menu softkey.
- Choose the Options menu item.
- Ensure the My desktop connects to option is set to The Internet.
That's what got it working for me.
