You don't seem to believe me, given that you're asking the same question two more times, so keep looking for a way to do it. If you find one, I'm sure lots of people will thank you.
I think I tried using the same registry keys from my Pocket PC on the Q, but they didn't work.

Yes. Don't delete the E-mail or don't do a Send/Receive after you delete it. That's probably not what you had in mind, but it's the only way I know of to keep your E-mail on the server.
On the Pocket PC, there's also another way to do it. You can create extra mail folders (I create a
Saved folder) and move E-mail to those folders. Unfortunately, you can't create new folders on the Smartphone, so that won't work, either.
