yes if you do kill it in task manager it will stop running
BUT!
if you have auto start checked and then kill it in task manager it will turn back on if you hit the soft key you mapped it to
i kill mine all the time
then i hit the soft key (wait like 2-5 seconds) and it comes right back up
so as longas you have 'auto-start' check you are golden
